Hailing from the UK, David is an experienced IT Professional with a gift for people leadership.
Born in Middlesbrough in the UK, he worked for IBM UK for 11 years as an Advisory IT Specialist specialising in Desktop Rollouts. Having worked in the UK, Germany and the United States, he and Margaret emigrated to New Zealand in 2006.
Working for a local company in Christchurch, David quickly moved from the pure technical aspect of IT into Service Delivery Management, Engineering Management and then Operations Management. He worked for the Earthquake Commission and then NZ Police at Senior Management level before taking a career break, travelling the world with Margaret performing HouseSitting duties in a number of countries.
Enjoying the time they had looking after a boutique Bed and Breakfast in Tasmania, he and Margaret took on the management of Doubtless Bay Villas, chic accommodation based in the Far North of New Zealand.
We then spent time renovating our home in Northland and working on short and variable contracts, mainly documentation. With a completed office set up at home David id looking for a more permanent challenge to take him into the next chapter of our working careers.

Managed an office move following building damage in the Christchurch earthquake. This involved securing the best location and ensuring the new office was fully functional before moving 50 staff with minimal disruption and no reduction in service to clients
